NYC based WordPress related post plugin nRealetd maker announced an awesome contest for Plugin or CSS developer.

nRelated is a nice free plugin which replaced LinkWithin from many site. It provides your blog with related post and many more customizing feature. It also have no do follow type java script issue like LinkWithin has. Its fast, its free and nRelated working to bring revenue sharing paid promotion as well. The contest is about creating CSS design to explore the possibility of  nRelated.

This is a chance at fame, friends, and up to TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS! There will be up to 10 winning designs and the creator of each winning design will reap the benefits :

How to Enter:

1) Get Your Idea Ready to be Submitted.

Install the latest version of our plug-in and give it a test drive! Then take some time and create the best layout you can imagine by modifying our CSS. We cater to a large and diverse community of publishers, so creativity and versatility is your key to winning.

2) Submit Your Design to nRelate.

Email Your Submissions to:  [email protected] Please make sure you include your name, the URL of the website that is using your custom CSS, and the custom CSS itself in an attachment. You can submit multiple entries and can win multiple times! You may submit your idea anytime until 11:59PM EST on May 10, 2011.

3) Let the Voting Begin!

After the submission round is over, we will put up all the entries so they can be voted on.

From May 11th until May 18th, it will be up to you to get as many votes as you can, via our contest voting page. The nRelate community of publishers, developers, and staff will also score and comment on your submission. These votes, scores and comments will decide which designs will be incorporated into our plugin.

For EACH design selected, the CSS author will receive:

• $200 in cold hard cash.
• Your design will be integrated into our plug-in with full credit.
• We will feature your website on the nRelate blog.
• You will be the envy of your peers.
• You will have our undying appreciation.

TECHNICAL SPECS

• Don’t worry about IE6
• Feel free to use one of our current stylesheets as a guide.  Links to all of them can be found in our plugins Style Gallery.
• We have lots of options, so remember to test with all of them (ie Do not display title, Do not display excerpt, etc).
• Consider all thumbnail sizes.
• Our plugin is packed with CSS classes, so check out our style guide.

LEGAL TERMS AND CONDITION

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS. All Participants in the Contest may submit as many entries for consideration (the “Submission”). Each Submission may include (i) a CSS file (ii) and background images (collectively, the “Submission Materials”). The Submissions must be the original work of the Participant and must not contain any obscene or pornographic material. Submissions containing prohibited or inappropriate content as determined by the Contest Parties, in their sole discretion, to be inappropriate will be disqualified. By making a Submission, the Participant hereby grants to the Contest Parties and their agents the right to publish and use the Submission in any way in connection with the Contest, in any and all media. The only payment to the winning Participants, is a one-time payment of $200. Occasionally, due to technical requirements, the Submission may need to be adapted, edited, modified or compressed, however the Sponsors will do everything in its power to maintain the integrity of the Submission. Submissions that do not include all required information and adhere to the foregoing and following requirements may be considered void and not considered in the Contest.

CONTEST TERMS OF SUBMISSION. By making a Submission, the Participant agrees to the terms and conditions specified on this Website. As a condition to enter the Contest, each Participant represents and warrants that the Participant owns all right, title and interest in and to the Submission including the CSS and Images contained in the Submission.
